Core Values

CCT works to unite the church, the business sector, and the public by providing these groups with the tools they need to bring transformation to their communities. Our core value is to work with people in the community – members of  the churches, organizations, and businesses – for the purpose of empowering them to be engaged in the community through involvement, incarnational presence, and making an impact.

In order to facilitate this goal, we strive for all our approaches to be:

Christ-centered – We hold up the teachings of Jesus and apply them to our lives and our work. Christ’s teachings are foundational in our approach to community transformation, and we encourage people to ado t and apply His teachings to their daily lives. (Something like that?)

Incarnational - We encourage members of a community’s churches, organizations, and businesses to live in and be a active participants in their community. We encourage our clients to participate with the community and become an integral part of its day-to-day operations in order to make an impact.

Intentional – We are intentional about building from the assets and strengths that a community already possesses in order to address its needs.

Interactive – We interact and participate with communites through appreciative inquiry in order to understand it; we do not simply assume to know things about communities.

Empowering – We strive to equip, enable and encourage people to carry out their God-given call through their talents, giftedness, and experience.

Just – We provide opportunities for all people and care for the disenfranchised and marginalized. We advocate for justice in community life and address the systemic issues that oppress people.

International – We work with all ethnicities from their specific frame of reference and provide opportunities for all.

Redemptive – We value the church as an important part of the community and encourage the church to participate with the community for renewal and transformation.
